The Texas Association of Partners in Education will honor The La Porte
Education Foundation, a partner with the La Porte Independent
School District, at the annual state partnership conference slated for
Jan. 24 in Austin.
The
La Porte Education Foundation
was
named the Texas Community Partnership Award for small school
districts, which includes those district’s with student populations
under 10,000.
Foundation president Bill Parker will receive the prestigious Crystal
Awards for the Foundation during a special awards ceremony dinner at
the TAPE state conference on Jan. 24.
The
Foundation is totally committed to quality education and supporting
the students and staff in La Porte Independent School District.
