Scholar-Athletes selected for Academic All-State

| La Porte ISD athletes excel in the classroom as well as on the court and on the field. Six La Porte High School athletes were recently selected for the Academic All-State teams.
Kelly McPhail is La Porte ISD's representative on the Academic All-State volleyball team.
Five members of the La Porte Bulldog varsity football squad were awarded Academic All-State honors. Landing on the First Team Academic All-State are Jeremy Staska, Rhett Thibodeaux, and Blake Whitlow. The Second Team honoree is R.J. Isbell. David Nasab garnered Honorable Mention Team status. |  |
