Beth Rickert, LPISD Executive Director of Communications, was recognized by the Houston Press in their "Best of Houston 2006" awards as the Best Public Information Officer. The Houston Press submitted public information requests to 63 Houston-area school districts last Spring. Based on Mrs. Rickert's response to their requests, they describe her as "the finest PIO in the land." We're proud to have Beth Rickert as Public Information Officer in La Porte ISD.
