Two 5th grade classes at Rizzuto Elementary participated in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Mars Rover Competition this weekend at the University of Houston. Fifth grade dual language teacher, Christine DeLong attended the teacher training back in September and led her students to the competition along with her partner teacher Ron Garrido. Five teams brought home trophies. Way to go 5th grade!
