Chris Dlouhy and Sammi Oliphint win Spelling Bee

The La Porte ISD District Spelling Bee went 29 rounds. Chris Dlouhy and Sammi Oliphint were the last two standing; both had to spell “Kielbasa”. Chris spelled it correctly and then had to spell mnemonic for the win. Chris is a 6th Grader at Baker and Sammi is in 5th Grade at Jennie Reid Elementary.
