Wellness Day conducted in La Porte ISD

 La Porte ISD conducted a Wellness Day, Monday, February 26, 2007. The Bayshore Medical Center - Education Department performed blood pressure and diabetes screenings. The Rose Mammography unit was also at the LPISD Administration building. The Rose screened 29 people. They usually screen 24 a day but had such great response from LPISD staff that they decided to add more spaces. April Conner, Assistant Director for School Nutrition coordinated La Porte ISD's Wellness Day activities.
