National School Nurse Day - May 9
| Tuesday, May 8th, 2007 |
Healthy Children Learn Better. School Nurses provide for the daily health care of our students by reducing absenteeism, providing essential infectious disease monitoring and prevention, and ensuring a healthy school population. In addition, school nurses provide necessary case management and care for children who have chronic health problems such as asthma, diabetes, and food allergies. Celebrate National School Nurse Day on May 9, 2007.
