La Porte High School seniors who are graduating with 300 or more hours of Service Learning will receive a special seal on their diploma. College and employers like to see it because it shows they are willing to work not only on their education, but within the community. It is a personally driven activity, as they do the work on their own and turn the hours into Mrs. George or Mrs. Emmons.
