Principal, Vicki Defee promised her students that she would sing and dance like Hannah Montana if they scored over 90% in all subject areas of their TAKS tests. Her students heard and reached her challenge so on May 23rd, she along with the "Lion-Ettes", Vickie Gentile – Assistant Principal, Tina Pettis – office personnel, Cecilia Diaz – music teacher and Suzanne Jones – Elementary District Teacher of the Year, dance and sang from the rooftop of Lomax Elementary.
