The La Porte Independent School District
Board of Trustees & Superintendent of Schools
Whereas, the Board of Trustees and Superintendent of Schools wish to honor Jean Williams for her forty-four years of loyal service to La Porte Independent School District; and
Whereas, Jean Williams has been dedicated to the service of this district and faithfully served this district in her commitment to excellence for our students, our educators, fellow employees, parents, and our community; and
Whereas, Jean Williams has been The Role Model of professionalism as an office professional. She was a member of both the National Association of Educational Office Professionals and the Texas Educational Secretaries Association. She established the La Porte Educational Secretaries Association; and
Whereas, Jean Williams was the first paraprofessional in La Porte ISD to obtain the highest level of Certification as a Certified Educational Office Professional; and
Whereas, Jean Williams has garnered respect not only from fellow workers and the La Porte ISD community, but office professionals throughout the State of Texas. She has served as the Summer Work Conference Chairman for the Texas Educational Secretaries Association (TESA); She has also been Secretary for TESA in 1988-1989.
Therefore, the La Porte ISD Board of Trustees and the Superintendent of Schools, in honoring the service of Jean Williams to La Porte Independent School District, do hereby proclaim

As Jean Williams has demonstrated loyalty to our children and schools, we urge all employees to celebrate Jean William's long and dedicated career to the public schools of La Porte ISD and her many contributions in making a difference to the children, staff and trustees of our district.
