La Porte ISD has received preliminary results on the Spring 2008 Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS). The table below shows the preliminary 2008 scores with comparisons to scores from 2006 and 2007. Preliminary results indicate that Lomax Elementary may be rated an Exemplary Campus. This will be the first campus to receive
consecutive Exemplary ratings (2006-2007 and 2007-2008) in LPISD under the new TAKS system (TEA).The official ratings will be released August 1st.
