  The highest ranking seniors at La Porte High School were honored at the Top 100 Academic Achievers dinner held on Nov. 20 in the LPHS Student Center.  The event was made possible through the Bill and Helen Crowder Foundation.

  Honorees were presented with sweatshirts acknowledging their accomplishments. Representing the Crowder Foundation at the dinner were Jim Keeney and Marilyn Sims, members of the Board of Directors.   

  Remarks were made by Lloyd W. Graham, LPISD superintendent of schools; Kathy Green, president of the LPISD Board of Trustees; and Joanne Kolius, LPHS principal.

  Honored at the event were Donalyn Allen, Pedro Alvarado, Brittney Archie, Scott Babb, Sarah Barnett, Mayuri Bhakta, Britney Bierman, Bailiegh Bostick, Kirsti Bostick, Amanda Brown, Sharayah Brunson, Kelsey Burg, Delaney Burton, John Buys, Justin Carnes, Sarah Carney, Chance Collard, Erin Cordova, Caitlyn Cornutt, Ciara Davis, Krystal Dearman, Zachary DeLong, Molly Duncan, Courtney Dunkin and Brittany Dyer.

  Honorees also included Austin Ehlers, Brittany Ellenberg, Samantha Flynn, Gabriel Fuentes, Cheyenne Garcia, Ashleigh Glassco, Ana Gonzales, Hunter Gould, Jordan Hall, Joshua Hand, Saba Haroon, Lauren Hebert, Haley Hernandez, Zachary Hillis, Lyndsey Holloway, Lindsay Holt, David Johnson, Jillian Jones, Adam Kley, Katy Knox, Daniella Longoria, Jonathan Machemehl, Sara Malik, Blake Marchal and Arturo Marrero-choe.
