La Porte ISD will open its doors and allow students who live outside the district's boundaries to apply for enrollment in the district this year. The district will accept applications for enrollment at all grade levels except Pre-K and De Walt.

Applications are available at each LPISD campus and this website [see below] and must be returned in person to the campus where you are requesting Open Enrollment.

Applications will be evaluated by a small panel of district administrators and approved by the campus principal. Students whose applications are approved will be eligible to attend LPISD schools for the 2009-10 school year.  Applications must be filled out every school year to continue at LPISD.

Parents of students who enroll through the Open Enrollment program are also responsible for transporting their children to and from school.
