Members of the Facilities Planning Committee
and Citizens Bond Committee heard an update on the 2005 bond program and an
overview of projects underway during a recent joint meeting of the groups.
The May 14 meeting included a review of the
bond project status by Perspectiva, program manager for the La Porte ISD bond
program. VLK Architects presented an overview of the renovations and additions
at Lomax Junior High School, and PBK Architects provided an update on several
projects. These projects include La Porte High School Improvements, Package 2,
Phases 1 and 2; the new Physical Education Center, Instructional Technology
Center, and Operations/Agricultural Science Centers; and the new Bayshore
Elementary School.
