La Porte ISD invites you to tour two of the district’s recently renovated schools in conjunction with the district Facilities Planning Committee meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 19. Rizzuto Elementary, located at 2301 Farrington Blvd., will be open for tours beginning at 5:30 p.m., and Reid Elementary, located at 10001 W. Fairmont Parkway, will be open for tours beginning at 6:30 p.m. Citizens are also invited to the Facilities Planning Committee meeting, beginning at 6 p.m. at Rizzuto, to hear more about completed construction and renovations projects as the 2005 bond issue comes to a close.
