La Porte High School senior David Sanchez has earned honorable mention in the National Hispanic Recognition Program. This selection is based on high achievement on the 2009 Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) he took as a junior as well as his grade point average. David is the son of Lori and Mark Lambert. The National Hispanic Recognition Program identifies nearly 5,000 outstanding Hispanic/Latino students each year. The program sends a list of all recognized students to the subscribing colleges and universities that are particularly interested in academically outstanding seniors of Hispanic/Latino heritage.
