La Porte High School will host College Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, in the LPHS Student Center.
Students and their parents are encouraged to attend. Representatives from a large number of colleges and universities and armed services will be on hand to talk with students about their future plans.
Organizations currently planning to attend the event are Air Force ROTC, American InterContinental University, Art Institute, Colorado State University, Dallas Baptist University, Drexel University, East Texas Baptist University, Everest Institute, Galveston College, Lamar Institute of Technology, Lamar University, Lee College and Lincoln College of Technology. Also participating will be Lon Morris College, Louisiana State University, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Northeastern University, Northwood University, Paul Quinn College, Penn State, Remington College, Sam Houston State Army ROTC, Sam Houston State University, San Jacinto College, Stephen F. Austin State University and Tarleton State University.
Participants will also include Texas A&M University, Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Science, Texas A&M Corps of Cadets, Texas A&M University-Galveston, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Texas Lutheran University, Texas Tech University, Tufts University, Tyler Junior College, Universal Technical Institute, University of Alabama, University of Houston Army ROTC, University of Houston Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management, University of Houston Honors College, University of Houston-Victoria, University of Mississippi, University of Oklahoma, University of Phoenix, University of Texas at Austin, University of Texas at San Antonio, University of Texas Health Science Center and Wyotech.
