The La Porte ISD School Health Advisory Council’s Employee Wellness Committee will sponsor the “Wellness is Best Fest” on Monday, January 17, which is a professional development day. The event will be held at La Porte High School, and campuses have been scheduled to attend the fair at selected times throughout the day. Special thanks to Dr. Joanne Kolius and staff for hosting the event at the LPHS campus!
If you have scheduled a screening to be performed by Scan Specialists USA at the event, please make sure your appointment is during the time your campus will attend the Employee Wellness Fair. If your appointment is already scheduled for a different time, please call Scan Specialists USA to reschedule ASAP. It is important to be on campus for any staff development training that your principal may have scheduled for other times during the day. Staff members who have not yet scheduled a screening also may call Scan Specialists USA to obtain an appointment. 8:00 to 10:00 LPE, HRE, CPE, LPJH
10:30 to 12:30 JRE, DeWalt, Baker
1:00 to 3:00 LXE, BSE, RIZ, LXJH
Administration, LPHS and off-campus department staffs are encouraged to attend any time their schedules permit!
