The three La Porte ISD Board of Trustees members whose current terms will come to an end in May are unopposed in their bids for re-election.

Incumbents Bill Snead, Kathy Green and Craig Hulcy were the only candidates to file as of the March 14 deadline, and there were no write-in candidates. Snead, the current Board president, serves in Position 1, while Green and Hulcy hold Positions 2 and 3, respectively.

As a result, the May 14 Board of Trustees election will be cancelled, as will the candidate training set for March 22.
