The La Porte High School Choir will sing the national anthem at the April 13 Houston Astros game at Minute Maid Park.

"It is Music Appreciation Night, and we are honored to be providing the national anthem that special night," said Sandra Strickhouser, director of the LPHS Choir. "The La Porte community is invited to come and support our choir being in the 'spotlight' for this occasion. Wear your LP orange so Houston knows that La Porte is there!"

The choir will perform at 6:55 p.m. prior to the 7:05 p.m. game.
