2011 Summer Robotics Camp

Learn how to design your own robot with the Lego NXT 2.0 Mindstorm robotics kits. Students will learn pre-built designs
and customize their actions with the NXT software, then branch out to design a robot of their own creation. At the
same time, students will learn the fundamentals of programming using Scratch, a graphical programming language
developed by MIT. The camp will include a field trip on Thursday to a local company that uses robotics and will conclude with a showcase on Friday.To Register For Camp: Complete the entire attached registration form and return it along with $50 to the LPISD Instructional Technology Center between 8-4 pm Monday thru Friday. The first 30 paid participants will form the class. All others will be placed on a waiting list in case of cancellations. For questions, please contact Technology at 281-604-7125. |
