Each of the 3 bond proposals received strong support from district voters in Saturday's election and in early voting.
Proposition 1 included a new elementary school and additional classrooms at some existing schools to ease overcrowding. It also included school buses, library books, science and other classroom equipment, and computer networking costs. Voters approved this proposition 1021 to 254.
Proposition 2 was passed by 1001 to 286 and included a new Agricultural Science facility ("Ag Barn"), new technology and transportation centers, and, at LPHS, a new gym and improvements to the cafeteria and the theater.
Voters approved Proposition 3 by 871 to 417. Proposition 3 included an additional elementary school, more classrooms at some existing campuses, and a laptop initiative for secondary school students beginning with 6th graders. |
