District 23-5A coaches met this past week to select All-District team members. Although the La Porte Lady Dog Varsity squad finished the season with 15 wins and 17 losses and had an 8 and 6 district record, they were well represented when the final poll was taken. The Lady Dogs placed five members on the 23-5A All-District Team.

First Team All-District included Ashley Kley (Outside Hitter) and Brittany Mason (Middle Blocker). La Porte’s Second Team All-District selection was Amber Wilcox (Middle Blocker). Kelly McPhail (setter) garnered Honorable Mention status by the 23-5A selection committee. Kelly McPhail also made the All-District All-Academic Team.
