Morning Procedures:
Bus Riders:

Morning Car Rider Drop off procedures: 
* Do not drop students off before 7:15 am. There are no staff members on duty before that time to monitor and ensure the safety of your children. Students will no longer gather in the gym in the mornings.
* Breakfast begins at 7:15 and ends at 7:40. If you are dropping off your child to eat, they will need to arrive and enter the north side cafeteria door before 7:40.
* Students who have already eaten breakfast will enter the front doors of the school and proceed directly to their grade level POD.
* Please do not drive in or walk across the bus lane next to the breezway area in front of the gym and cafeteria. Never allow children to walk unattended in any of the parking lots or bus lane.
* Please drop students off at the circle drive in the small visitors parking lot adjacent to the building. Do not drop students off in the large faculty/staff lot in front of the gym. If you need to enter the school, please park your car in the visitor lot at any time of the day.

Hours for the 2010-2011 school year:
First bell: 7:40
Tardy bell: 7:50
Dismissal: 3:10

Below you will find links to the State of Texas 2008-09 School Report Card for La Porte Elementary.  This is a report required by the Texas Legislature and prepared by the Texas Education Agency. The report provides information concerning student performance as well as information concerning expenditures, average class size, and student/teacher ratios.
